The Gospel

In His almighty power and intelligence, God created the heavens and the earth and all that is in it: plants, animals and mankind. But man disobeyed God and in doing so, brought death upon himself - that is why there is so much misery in the world, and this is why we die.

So God sent His only Son, Jesus Christ, to take on all the sin of the world, and die in our place. After three days and three nights he was resurrected, and is now at the right hand of God where he intercedes for the saints (those who have repented, been baptized as a symbol of their inward change, and believe in the name of the Lord Jesus Christ) and waits for the time when He will return to earth.

2,000 years ago, Jesus Christ lived here on earth with us, and showed us God's plan. The Old Testament showed us that there will always be sin in our human lives, and that blood must be shed for sin. But we no longer have to make sacrifices for our sins, because of the death and resurrection of Christ. For Jesus says that those who believe in Him, repent of their sin, and are baptized in His name, will be saved (and a great reward awaits!) But he who does not believe in the name of the Lord Jesus Christ will be condemned.

Learning More

You can learn more about the life of Jesus Christ by reading the Bible. First-hand accounts of Jesus' life here on earth can be found in the four gospels: Matthew, Mark, Luke & John.

It's also very important to meet with people who study the Bible - that is, people who believe exclusively in the Bible and don't follow doctrines of men. I invite you to use the articles above as a basis for study.
